There is so much happening in the world right now, and it is hard to capture it all. I tried to make a piece that is simple, bold, and captures as many issues as I can without it being too overwhelming. In the front, it shows two women on a date wearing masks, representing two issues that are becoming regulated: COVID-19 and LGBTQ+. In the back, there are protests about three other issues separated by three different panels or “windows”: sexual harassment/assault, Black Lives Matter, and the Yemen Crisis.
