As this month’s theme is Roots, I centered this spread around the idea of family and friends as they ultimately affect all of us in a great number of ways. They can shape who we are and we can find comfort in them to ground us whether we are aware of their impact or not. As for the collage I made, I chose generally warmer tones to symbolize the warmth that family can bring and a more cluttered feeling as so many things from our culture to family can affect each and every one of our unique roots.
